WHAT IS PHYSIOTHERAPY?

VETERINARY PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physiotherapy helps to improve the wellbeing of a variety of animals. All animals including leisure and working animals can benefit. Services can vary from general maintenance to more specific pre-habilitation or rehabilitation following injury or surgery.

An individualised treatment plan will be created depending on findings from a thorough assessment. Techniques and therapies that may be used include; 

  • Massage and stretching 

  • Specific remedial exercise programs

  • LASER therapy

  • Therapeutic Ultrasound 

  • Heat or cold therapy

  • Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENs) 

  • Pulsed-electro Magnetic Field Therapy
